Chélemby Downloads

We have a growing number of free product expansions designed to support GMs and players using the Chélemby setting.

These include:

Chéler Player Guide - a 12 page guide to the Chéler, their culture and folklore to assist players and GMs new to the setting.
Chéler Index - an index of the content the principal Chélemby publications. This will be updated as further publications are released.
Chélemby City Poetic Map - a beautiful poetic map of Chélemby City.
Charts of Salónen Ekàtriása, a cartographer based at Kolâdis. Provides a good poetic map of the region.
Chélemby Occupation Table, a PDF and XLS version of an adapted Occupation Table for Chélemby, for use with HârnMaster.

Chélemby City is the largest urban centre in the northwestern region of Venârivè, on the continent of Lýthia.

The kingdom of Chélemby is a unique blend of the northern Ivínian, southern feudal and ancient Járind cultures.

This Player Guide is designed to assist players (and Gamemasters) new to the Chéler people gain an overview of the kingdom, its major city and the people who live there. It provides an introduction to the culture, history, politics and geography of the kingdom and its surroundings, making players more at home and able to enjoy this fascinating setting.

This guide is the perfect accompaniment to the Keléstia Productions series of publications covering Chélemby - including Kingdom of Chélemby, Chélemby: City of the Sea Kings, and the Chélemby Interactive Map.

Venârivè Player Guide

This free module provides a general overview and guide for players of characters in the northwestern region of Lýthia - Venârivè.

Venârivè is the expansive region where for thousands of years peoples, religions, and nations have developed, traded, and clashed. It includes all the lands around the Venârian Sea and the regions which lie to the north and west, including the powerful empires of Ázeryàn and Dalkésh, the kingdoms of Tríerzòn and Shôrkýnè, and the lesser states of Hârn and Iváe.

This Player Guide is designed as a complement to Venârivè: Northwestern Lýthia.

Great Clans of Emélrenè

Emélrenè is the oldest feudal realm in Venârivè (Northwestern Lýthia). The kingdom’s noble houses can trace their ancestry back generations, and claim links to the founder of the realm.

Each noble clan also has links to the ‘Free Eméla’ or Émhlè, the Eméla who live a semi-nomadic lifestyle in the wildlands of the kingdom and beyond.

This publication provides an introduction to these great clans, detailing the fiefs of the kingdom, outlining the tenants-in-chief, and lists all the holdings of the realm.

This publication is a free supplement to Venârivè: Northwestern Lýthia.

A map of the fiefs of the kingdom is also provided.

Attached are an example of the Charts of the Chéler cartographer, Salónen Ekàtriása, who is based at Kolâdis.

Hávnhus Interactive - PDF map for Chélemby City

Hávnhus Interactive is a high quality PDF version of the Hávnhus interior layout map included in Chélemby: City of the Sea Kings.

This download is a multi-layered PDF file, with the following layers:

Legend
GM - a layer of GM-only data
Data - data about elevation, height etc
Walls
Furniture
Surface

When viewed using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 or later, users will be able to select which of these layers they wish to view, use and print. Guidance on how to use multi-layered PDF files is available here.

GMs can use these maps with Chélemby: City of the Sea Kings, which includes the relevant description of this location, but are of course free to use this map in other settings if they wish.

En Téstradhem - the Chélemby Town Hall

The headquarters of the Chélemby City Testrad, the committee of the Parliament of Chélemby that oversees the running of the City. It includes the offices of the Mayor, the Harbourmaster, Bondmaster and the Captain of the Chélemby Watch.

The Town Hall (En Téstradhem) has a permanent staff of about a dozen. It stands in the Old Citadel quarter of the city, on the site of the old Vúldenar market square. Its main features are a massive ceremonial hall which functions primarily as a banquet and ceremonial chamber. This chamber is overlooked by the impressive first floor gallery, which is surrounded by the offices of the officials of the city. Cellars and stores are located beneath the hall.

The map of the hall is a single page, multi-layered document. Different levels can be viewed by selected the buttons on the map, or viewing specific layers.

This map is a pre-release document for the upcoming City of Chelemby module. It is also one of the last maps produced by N. Robin Crossby in its entirety.
