The area of SHKN-B7 is located in the southern Sea of Iváe and includes an archipelago of small islands. Mapped locations include:

• 40 islands and islets of the Hâltinan chain.
• Hâl's Station, a mid-sea trading post located on the largest of the islands. It also serves as a mariners' rendezvous point.
• the Wráchsed, ruins of what may have been a waypoint predating Hâl's Station by centuries.
