This module includes articles that detail the history, geography, culture, and politics of Thónia - the most remote, isolated and mountainous region of Lýthia - the veritable 'end of the world'.

Thónia is a region has a long history of ancient states and civilisations that have risen and fallen. The region suffered greatly from the Red Death, to the extent that all the organised states in the region collapsed, and none have yet to recover. Any recovery is threatened by the growing influence of Faláni colonies, and pressure from the Tuvâra to the east.

The module describes the six 'nations' of the Thon and their various cultural differences:

• The Oqono Thon ('Laker' Thon) are the most populous and warlike, and live around the northern lakes. They prey on their cousins and sell slaves to Árlanto.
• the matriarchal Anoro Thon ('Northern' Thon) inhabit the mangrove swamps of the Elánas Coast, have created a unique lifestyle to survive in the post-plague environment.
• the Aqaros Thon ('Western' Thon) are the most abject of all the Thon, dominated by the Faláni who exploit them for slaves and labour.
• the Garo Thon ('Interior' Thon) live in the interior and have held on to their pre-plague civilised ways better than any other nation, but they are culturally isolated from their neighbours.
• the Ulan Thon ('Mountain' Thon) life on the great central Ulan Massif, and consider themselves to be the 'true' Thon.
• the Makar Thon ('Southern' Thon), live in the southern rainforests south of the Thónian Alps; there is considerable variation between tribes; some retaining considerable levels of pre-plague culture. They are under pressure from Faláni slavers.

Eastern Thónia is the domain of around 70,000 Salo Tuvâra, who maintain their cattle-herding culture. Nko Turvara settlers have created a number of settlements in the region, and there is the beginning of a 'state' in the Hénua valley around the trading port of H’anvúchè.

The latecomers to the region are the Faláni who have build colonies along the western and southern coasts of the region. Originally focused on slaving, these colonies are now diversifying into other activities, particularly trade with Anzelôria and the Tuvâra port of Órovâshè.

In addition to details of these cultures, the growing port of H’anvúchè, with its mixed Nko Tuvâra and Àzeryáni population, is detailed. Trade in slaves, wild beasts, and crafts are common. Býrian traders seeking to avoid the Mángai embargo also frequent the town. The politics of the town are complex, and at least three outside forces are potential threats.

Finally, the module includes a gazetteer providing descriptions of each of the locations on the map, and a bestiary of the major fauna and flora of the region.
